I’m on the waiting list, I’m the first one on the waiting list actually. 23 people going, and I have to secretly hope that one of them can’t go so I can take their place. But I think that’s selfish of me. I think it’s selfish that I want to take someone’s place, when they probably earned it more than I did. 

And I sit here hoping, hoping for something that won’t come true. I guess in reality, I wanted to have my own spot. I didn’t want to be put on the waiting list. I wanted to feel special that I was the one outta twenty three people that got to be picked. But I’m not. And I feel like there’s no point in going.
